AGEX stands for Agriculture Global Export. AGEX OS exists because the software sold to agro-processors was written for factories with fibre, fixed shifts and a finance department — not for a buying point at the edge of a groundnut field with one tablet and a fading mobile signal.
What we believe
The record is made at the scale, not at the desk. If capture is slow, people write on paper and type it in later — and the system becomes a description of the business instead of the business itself.
The audit trail is the product. Submitted documents are immutable, ledger rows are never deleted, and corrections are cancel-and-amend. That is what makes a number defensible to a buyer, a bank or a board.
Traceability is not a PDF. It is a chain that holds from the container back through packing, processing and intake to the farmers who grew the crop — computed, not typed.
Constraints are the design brief. Expensive bandwidth, cheap tablets, sun glare and gloves are not edge cases here. They are the normal operating conditions.
